Step #01 – Whether you are using Mac or Windows PC, go to the official iCloud Activation Lock Status page through any web browser. (URL: https://www.icloud.com/activationlock/)
Step #02 – The iCloud Activation Lock Status page will ask you to enter either the IMEI number or serial number of your device.

Step #03 – Enter the IMEI number or serial number of your device in the “IMEI or Serial Number” text box.
Step #04 – Just below the IMEI and serial number field, there is a “Enter the code in the image” field where you must need to enter the captcha code shown in the image.
If you are unable to read the code shown in the image then you can either click on the New Code icon to regenerate a code or click on theVision Impaired icon to hear an audio version of the same code.
NOTE: This is a mandatory step and is used to verify that a human being is using the page to check iCloud activation lock status.
Step #05 – Once you have entered both, valid IMEI number/serial number and the correct code. You can then click on “Continue” button.
